Our Ethos 

Our Christian values and vision are at the core of everything we do.  They provide the foundation upon which children can develop as individuals and aspire to be the best they can be at Berrow Primary Church Academy. This links to our ‘Learning without Limits’ ethos where we believe no child should ever have a limit put on their learning. We passionately believe that everyone is capable of extraordinary and incredible things. We believe that each child should aim to be the best they can be and we aim to provide them with a range of opportunities to achieve this.

Our Values

To help us towards our vision we embed Christian Values into everything we do.  Every term children foster our school values through all aspects of school life: thankfulness,  Respect, Trust, Forgiveness, Courage and Friendship.

We also actively promote the fundamental British Values of:

• Democracy
• The rule of law
• Individual liberty
• Mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs

These values are taught as part of our board and balanced curriculum and specifically through Religious Education and PSHE.  We also foster these values through a variety of different activities in school e.g. Collective Worship, Parliament House Captains and our Behaviour for Learning policy.
